Want to book an appointment? Awesome, here is what you need to know. To get things going you can do one of the following things:

  • Fill out the contact form on this website and I’ll get back at you as soon as possible.

  • Come by the shop, say hi and we can chat about everything in person.

  • Shoot me an email at JoshAveryTattoos@Gmail.com

  • Visit my booking site and find a time/day that works best for you. Either for a consult or an appointment. https://bookedin.com/book/josh-avery-tattoos-llc

What To Expect: I book out between 3-4 weeks and try my best not to book beyond that, however some days are more desirable than others, Fridays and Saturdays in particular. If you’d prefer a weekend appointment it may be up to 2 months out. I use a booking app that will send you reminders and a confirmation before your appointment, make sure to hit that confirm button. I tattoo in lots of styles so if you don’t see something here reach out, I’m sure I have examples of what you’re looking for.

Deposit: In order to book an appointment I require a non-refundable deposit of $100. This is to hold the appointment and the cost of the deposit comes off the price of the final session of your tattoo. Drawings will not be started until a deposit is put down and an appointment is booked.

Pricing: In order to keep my pricing fair and ethical I generally stick to a day rate of $800 and a half day rate of $400. Smaller tattoos that do not require a full or half day will be priced by the piece rather than the hour. I work fast and efficiently most of the time, but sometimes things slow up and I don’t feel it’s fair to have a client pay more due to an hourly rate during those situations.

Drawings: I will begin work on drawings a few days before your appointment, up to 2 weeks prior for anything large scale. I try to have drawings finished no later than the day before your appointment, however depending on my workload sometimes things don’t get finalized until the morning of. If you are getting something on the larger side I will more than likely have you come in to do a fitting before your appointment, just to make sure everything is going to work just right. I will not send you drawings before an appointment or allow photos to be taken of drawings ahead of time.

Cancellation Policy: I require 72 hours (3 days) advance notice of an appointment cancellation in order to keep deposit, a failure to do so will forfeit your deposit. Two cancellations in a row will also result in a forfeit of your deposit. I try to be as fair as I can and I understand that sometimes things happen and life gets strange, just communicate with me if anything comes up.
